1.22.14 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Cavs Look to Declaw Panthers

Walsh (6-10, 2-8) looks for its second straight win when they host Ohio Dominican University (6-8, 3-7) in GLIAC contest, at home, on Thursday (5:30 pm). The game will be streamed live on TEAMLINE.

BACK ON TRACK: Maggie Berry and Sarah Stephenson combined for 42 points off the bench, as Walsh snapped a six-game losing streak with an 86-70 win at Lake Erie College last Saturday. The win was the first for the Cavs in 2014, and their first since December 19. Berry had her finest game of the season, scoring a career-high 22 points on 7-14 from the floor and 6-9 from three-point. She also had 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Stephenson tallied a career-best 20 points on 7-11 field goals, which included 4-8 from behind the arc. Jalynn Graham was solid with 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, and Whitney Dabbelt scored 8 points, handed out 5 assists and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. Walsh shot 49% from the floor, 46% from three-point, and outrebounded the Storm 45-34.
