1.8.13 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Cavs Host Unbeaten, Top Ranked Ashland on Thursday Night (8 pm)

Walsh (4-7, 1-6) returns home for a two-game home stand, starting with the number one team in NCAA ll, Ashland University (15-0, 8-0) on Thursday night. They look to break a two-game GLIAC losing streak. The Cavs are home Saturday to Lake Erie College at 3 pm.

WALSH: The Cavs lost twice in Michigan last week, falling 84-52 at Grand Valley on Thursday (1.1.13) and 77-59 at Ferris State on Saturday (1.5.13).

Maggie Berry scored 21 points in a losing effort at Ferris State. Berry was 7-13 from the floor and 5-6 from the line. She also nailed two three-pointers and paced the Cavs with seven rebounds. Berry averaged 6.5 rebounds in the two games.
