10.12.12 WOMEN'S TENNIS: Hillsdale Downs Cavs 6-3

Women's Tennis, 2012-10-12

Hillsdale College (7-4, 7-4) defeated Walsh (2-10, 2-10) 6-3 today at the Klekotka Tennis Complex in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action.  The loss was the fourth straight for the Cavs.  Walsh is home to Wayne State University at 10am tomorrow in GLIAC action, and to the University of Findlay at 10am on Sunday.

Walsh’s Mary-Catherine Beck (Sr., Alliance, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) and Arina Kravitz (Fr., Youngstown, OH/Boardman) posted the Cavs only doubles win with an 8-1 triumph.  The duo then turned the trick in singles, with Beck winning 6-2, 6-1 at fifth singles and Kravitz posting a 6-3, 6-3 victory at number six singles.
