10.14.12 MEN'S SOCCER: Semple Scores Lone Goal in 3-1 Road GLIAC Loss

(Columbus, OH) Jordan Semple (Sr., North Canton, OH/GlenOak) scored Walsh's lone goal in a 3-1 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference loss to Ohio Dominican University (8-4-1, 7-3) at Panther Field today.  The loss drops the Cavs to 3-7 in the GLIAC and to 3-9 overall.  The Cavs are idle until Friday night when they host Lake Erie College at 7:30 pm.

ODU jumped on the Cavs right out of the gate, scoring just 1:35 into the game to take a 1-0 lead.  Semple's third goal of the season, on an assist from Broc Sutek (Sr., Minerva, OH/HS), tied the contest at 18:43. 

The game remained tight until ODU added an insurance goal at 82:33.  The Panthers out shot the Cavs 21-12.

Cavs' keeper Frank Sanabria (So., North Ridgeville, OH/Elyria Catholic) had 10 saves.
