10.16.12 MEN'S GOLF: Bowman Fires Final Round 74 at GLIAC Championships

Walsh's Eric Bowman (Jr., Alliance, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) fired a 74 in the final round of the GLIAC Men's Golf Championships being played at Elyria Country Club in Elyria, Ohio.  Bowman finished tied for 68th (90-82-74=246).

The Cavs were not eligible team championship honors.

Chuck Demchak (Jr., Canton, OH/Central Catholic) tied for 41st (72-81-80=233).  Jeff Cockerham (Jr., Akron, OH/Ellet) and Brandon Shannon (So., Cuyahoga Falls, OH/Woodridge) tied for 55th, with identical rounds of 81-76-80 (2377).
 
Carl Lemmon (Sr., Canton, OH/Louisville) tied for 68th place (87-79-87=253).
