Molly Martin's (Jr., 5-7, Canfield, OH/HS) goal at 88:24 gave Walsh (12-4) a 1-0 win over Malone University (3-12) this afternoon. The Cavs are home on Saturday at 1 pm to meet Roberts Wesleyan University in an American Mideast Conference game.

Martin scored her sixth goal of the season after taking a pass from Lauren Frank (5-2, Fr., Copley, OH/HS) in the box. Malone's best scoring chance came in the 84th minute on a free kick, but the shot deflected off the crossbar.

Walsh outshot Malone 21-17. Jillian Zanney (Sr., 5-11, Brunswick, OH/HS) recorded six saves in the shutout win.
