10.26.12 VOLLEYBALL: Ashland Sweeps Cavs

Women's Volleyball, 2012-10-26

(North Canton, OH) Walsh (7-13, 4-8) fell in three sets to Ashland University (17-6, 7-5) in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action by the scores of 20-25, 12-25 and 23-25. The Cavs are home again tomorrow, when they host Lake Erie College in a GLIAC match at 2 pm.

Julianne O’Donnell (5-10 Sr., Willowick, OH/Lake Catholic) paced the Cavs with 9 kills.  She also added 7 digs.  Paige Chandler (6-0, Jr., Cincinnati, OH/McNicholas) added 5 kills and a team-high 14 digs.  Emilee Muzechuk (5-9, Fr., Mansfield, OH/Madison) had 13 digs.

Maureen Johnson led Ashland with 12 kills and Crystal Elliott handed out 28 assists.
