10.5.12 WOMEN'S TENNIS: Panthers Edge Cavs 6-3

Ohio Dominican University (5-4, 5-4) downed Walsh (2-7, 2-7) 6-3 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action today at the Klekotka Tennis Complex. The loss snapped the Cavs modest two-match win streak.  Walsh is back in action tomorrow at 12 pm, when they host Tiffin University in GLIAC play.

All three of Walsh‘s wins came in singles play.  Shellie Webster (Sr., Lexington, OH/HS) won 7-6 (7-5), 6-0 at first singles.  Mary-Catherine Beck (Sr., Alliance, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) won 6-2, 6-4 at fifth singles and Arina Kravitz (Fr., Youngstown, OH/Boardman) won 6-3, 6-2 at number six singles.
