10.8.12. WOMEN'S GOLF: Cavs Place 7th at Findlay

(Findlay, OH) Walsh (23-20) finished seventh at the Bing-Beall Classic played in Findlay, Ohio at the Findlay Country Club. The Cavs shot a 36-hole total of 665 (356-339).  Ferris State scored 617 (305-312) to win the 15-team event.

Kayla Hardesty (Fr., Minerva, OH/HS) finished tied for 22^nd to pace the Cavs with a 36-hole total of 163 (77-86).  Jenny Tsangeos (So., Canton, OH/GlenOak) tied for 27^th at 165 (81-84).  Morgan Jackson (So., Uniontown, OH/Green) tied for 33^rd at 168 (84-84), Katie Kohut (Sr., Twinsburg, OH/Walsh Jesuit) placed 45^th at 173 (84-89) and Megan Hatfield (Fr., North Canton, OH/Jackson) tied for 66^th at 184 (99-85).

The Cavs compete in the Annual Phipps Memorial Tournament at the Alliance Country Club on Thursday.
