11.11.13 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Cavs Travel to Second Ranked Gannon on Wednesday

Walsh looks to go to 3-0 for the first time since 2010-11, when they meet second ranked Gannon University (0-0) at the Hammermill Center in Erie, PA on Wednesday night at 7 pm. The game will be broadcast live on TEAMLINE.

CAVS ACCEPT CHALLENGE: Walsh won both games at the GLIAC/GMAC Challenge at Davis & Elkins last Friday and Saturday. The Cavs came from behind to defeat D & E 81-77 on Friday night, and then rolled to a 73-58 win over Alderson Broaddus on Saturday.

The Cavs wiped out a 14-point first half deficit against D & E. The Cavs trailed 38-24 with 3:43 to play in the first half, before outscoring the Senators 12-2 to cut the lead to four points at the break. The Cavs would outscore the home team 45-37 in the second half to carve out the win. Audrey Badovick scored a career-high 20 points, on 6-10 from the field and 8-8 from the line. Kelsey Funderburgh added 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Whitney Dabbelt tallied 13 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
