11.19 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: Miller, Reed Selected as 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes
Women's Cross Country, 2010-11-19
The NAIA has announced that 306 women's cross country student-athletes have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Walsh University's Rachelle Miller (Jr., Uniontown, OH/Lake) and Rachel Reed (Jr., Massillon, OH/Jackson) have been selected to the team.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
Millers majors in chemistry and carries a 3.85 grade point average, while Reed majors in biology and carries a 3.72 grade point average. Both are first time selections.
