11.2.12 MEN'S SOCCER: Semple and Greenwood Named to All-GLIAC Teams

BAY CITY, Mich. – Forward Jordan Semple (Sr., 5-7, North Canton, OH/GlenOak) and defender/midfielder Adam Greenwood (Sr., 5-11, Blackpool, England/Lytham St. Annes) have both been selected to the 2012 All-GLIAC Teams. This is Walsh’s inaugural year in the GLIAC.

Semple was selected to the All-GLIAC Second Team. He started in all 16 games this year and led the team in goals and points with four goals and an assist for nine points. One of those goals was the deciding and game-winning goal in a 5-3 victory at home over Ashland on October 7.

Greenwood was selected to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Team. He played in 13 games and started 12. He was tied for fourth on the team in points with six on two goals scored and two assists. He also had a game-winning goal in a 3-0 victory at Malone on September 8. Greenwood was also selected to the All-AMC First Team, All-OCSA, and All-OIC Second Team last season.
