(Houghton, MI) Michigan Tech (7-0, 2-0) remained unbeaten with an 8-1 decision over the Cavs today in GLIAC action. The loss drops the Cavs to 1-5 overall and to 0-2 in the GLIAC.

Alex Portelance (Fr., Repentigny, Quebec/Felix-Leclerc) posted Walsh's lone win at third singles (3-6, 64, 14-12).

The Cavs host Edinboro University on Friday, at Hall of Fame Courts at 5 pm and the University of Northwestern Ohio on Saturday at 4 pm.
