2.19.14 MEN'S BASKETBALL: Cavs and Findlay Battle for GLIAC Lead on Thursday

NCAA 22nd ranked Walsh (19-3, 15-3) won its eighth straight game, clinched a spot in the GLIAC playoffs, and remained in sole possession of first place in the GLIAC South after defeating Tiffin University 91-61 on Saturday. The streaking Cavs have won 14 of their last 15 games, and lead the University of Findlay by one-half game in the South. The Cavs have played one less game than the Oilers. Walsh is home for their GLIAC South showdown with the Findlay on Thursday night (7:30 pm). The game will be broadcast live on WNPQ FM, 95.9, and streamed live on TEAMLINE.

On Saturday Walsh travels to Hillsdale College for a 3 pm tip-off.

Walsh will honor Brad DuPont, Hrvoje Vucic and Ryan Vanderhorst as part of Senior Night.

CAVS SLAY DRAGONS: Walsh put the most points in the board since they scored 94 points vs. Ferris State on January 11, in downing Tiffin 91-61. Jeff Copeland finished with 23 points on 9-11 from the field. He also had five rebounds and blocked three shots.
