2.23.13 WOMEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Split Weekend Matches

Walsh (4-12) split a pair of non-conference matches at Hall of Fame Courts this weekend. After defeating Edinboro University 7-2 on Friday, the Cavs fell 5-4 to the University of Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.

Shellie Webster (Sr., Lexington, OH/HS) and Kayla Shaheen (Sr., Canton, OH/Central Catholic) won both matches at first doubles. Webster split matches at first singles. Alisha Angle (So., Lexington, OH/HS) and Arina Kravitz (Fr., Youngstown, OH/Boardman) turned the same trick at second doubles. Angle won both of her matches at singles, winning at second singles on Friday and third on Saturday.
