2.28.12 MEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Nip Lakers 5-4

Walsh edged Lake Superior State 5-4 in men’s tennis action to win its second straight contest Tuesday in Lexington. The Cavaliers (4-2) defeated Edinboro 10 days prior by the same score. The Lakers (2-4) will be a future conference foe for Walsh who makes its way into the GLIAC next year. The Cavs were able to get the win with two of the three points in doubles action as the teams evenly split the six singles matches 3-3. Walsh is now off until this Sunday when they play Chestnut Hill College on its spring break trip to Hilton Head, South Carolina.
