Walsh (8-17, 5-17) snapped a four-game losing streak with a thrilling 61-60 upset win over GLIAC North leader Wayne State on Wednesday night at Alumni Arena. Walsh closes the regular season on Saturday (3 PM), when they host rival Malone University (13-12, 9-12) in the 17th Annual Mayor’s Cup game. It is also Senior Day, as the Cavs will honor Tracy Payne in pregame ceremonies. The game will be broadcast, and streamed live, on TEAMLINE.
