2.5.14 MEN'S BASKETBALL: Cavs Look to Extend Streak Against High-Flying Eagles

28th ranked Walsh (15-3, 11-3) remained in sole possession of first place in the GLIAC South after defeating crosstown rival Malone University 62-58 on Monday night at Alumni Arena. Walsh leads Findlay by one-half game in the South. The Cavs have played one less game than Findlay. (standings on page two). Walsh received 13 votes in the latest NCAA ll poll. The Cavs continue their season-long four game homestand with Ashland University on Thursday (7:30 pm), and then play Lake Erie College on Saturday (3 pm). All games will be broadcast live on WNPQ FM, 95.9 and streamed live on TEAMLINE.

Behind Jeff Copeland's double-double, Walsh (15-3, 11-3) held off Malone (9-10, 7-8) 62-59 before over 1,700 fans. The Cavs have won four straight games, and 10 of their last 11. Walsh has also won 26 of the last 29 meetings with the Pioneers.
