2.5.14 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: Cavs Look to Ground Eagles

Walsh (7-13, 3-11) looks to win back-to-back games for the first time since December, when then host Ashland University in a GLIAC South match-up onThursday night at Alumni Arena at 5:30 pm. The Cavs complete their season-long four-game homestand when they play host to Lake Erie College on Saturday (1 pm). Both games will be streamed live on TEAMLINE.

UPSET THE LEADER: Walsh put the pieces together in the 82-75 upset of South Division leader, and rival Malone, on Monday night. The Cavs build a ten-point halftime lead, and led by as many as 24 points in the second half. After scoring a career-high 33 points in the quadruple overtime loss to Hillsdale on Saturday, Kelsey Funderburgh played one of her finest all-around games of the season. She led all scorers with 21 points, hit 6-6 of from the foul line and had three assists, two steals, and just one turnover.
