28th ranked Walsh (16-3, 12-3) won its fifth straight game, and remained in sole possession of first place in the GLIAC South after defeating Ashland University 84-74 on Thursday night at Alumni Arena. The Cavs have won 11 of their last 12 games. Walsh leads Findlay by one-half game in the South. The Cavs have played one less game than Findlay. Walsh received 13 votes in the latest NCAA ll poll. The Cavs close out their season-long four-game homestand with Lake Erie College (9-13, 6-10) on Saturday.The game will be broadcast live on WNPQ FM, 95.9 and streamed live on TEAMLINE.
