Women's Soccer, 2012-02-09

Women’s soccer Head Coach David Renard has announced the addition of seven student athletes who will join the Cavaliers’ program next fall. The class includes two goalkeepers, two defenders, one defender/midfielder, one midfielder, and one forward.

“I am extremely excited about our incoming class," said Coach Renard. "The entire group has an extensive pedigree of club experience along with playing for some of the top high schools in the state. It is certainly one of the top classes our program has seen come through.”

Walsh has seen recent success as the program recorded 13 wins in 2011 after winning 11 in 2010 and 6 in 2009. With the move to NCAA Division II and the GLIAC conference next fall, Coach Renard noted a need to focus on recruiting student athletes able to come in and contribute immediately.
