2.9.13 MEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Take Down Wooster 7-2

Walsh visited Wooster today for a non-conference match and came away with a 7-2 victory. It is the first for the Cavaliers (1-2) on the young season, and just the second team match of the semester. The Fighting Scots fall to 0-2.

The Cavs started out well as they won all three doubles contests. From there, Pablo Cabezon (Fr., Santander, Cantabria, Spain/Calasanze Collegue), Louis Thomas (Jr., Canton, OH/Jackson), Alex Portelance (Fr., Repentigny, Quebec/Felix-Leclerc), and Carlos Jaque (Fr., Chijuayante, Concepcion, Chile/Lycee Charles de Gaulle) all claimed wins again at first through fourth singles, respectively.

Walsh will be back in action tomorrow morning for another non-conference match when the Cavs host Denison University at 10 a.m. The match will take place at the Hall of Fame Courts in Canton.
