"I'm thrilled to accept the head coaching position here at Walsh University, and I'm looking forward to continuing the tradition of excellence that has already been established," exclaimed Foster. "The Walsh Volleyball program was built on hard work and dedication by both the athletes and the coaches that were here prior to me and they have truly set the precedent for what a successful program encompasses. I would like to thank President Jusseaume, Dale Howard and the entire Walsh University Athletic Department for this amazing opportunity and their continued support. I'm excited and confident about the upcoming season. We have an incredible returning team and outstanding incoming recruits which means we have put ourselves in a great place to be successful in 2010."

"Erin is an excellent addition to our staff in that she has a thorough understanding of the standards of excellence that our volleyball program has developed as well as an excellent relationship with the current players and new recruits," stated Director of Athletics Dale Howard. "I am confident that she will be able to continue the winning tradition established by the coaches that have gone before her, while at the same time provide mentoring and guidance for our student-athletes as she supports the mission of the university to educate the whole person: mind, body, and soul."
