3.10.12 SOFTBALL: Cavs Drop Pair

(Gulf Shores, AL) Walsh lost twice in their final two games of the Gulf Coast Invitational.  The Cavs dropped their final four games of their spring trip and return home 4-6.  Walsh opens the home season on Wednesday with a double header at 2 pm with the University of Charleston.

Morningside's Jordan Johnson out-dueled Walsh's Erin Ebert (Jr., Jermomesville, OH/Hillsdale) for a 2-1 win in the opener.

Brenau then defeated the Cavs 3-1.  Dana Brown (Jr., Unontown, OH/Lake) and Kayla Marucs (So., Bergholz, OH/Edison) each collected two hits for Walsh.
