3.26.11 MEN'S TRACK: Cavs Win Lucky Seven Events at Muskingum; Place Second

(New Concord, OH) Walsh captured seven firsts at the Amy Adams Memorial Invitational today, but finished second behind host Muskingum. Walsh finished with 229.50 points, while the Muskies totaled 245.50.
The following took firsts in their events for the Cavs today; Jeff Farrell (Fr., Fort Myers, FL/Bishop Verot) won the 200m (22.76) and finished second in the 100m (11.30). Evan Heck (Sr., Canton, OH/Central Catholic) 800m (1:59.19), Jordan Groubert (So., Hartville, OH/Lake) 1500m (4:18.85), Justin Eddy (So., Perry, OH/HS) 500m (15:43.57), Brian Williams (Sr., Canton, OH/McKinley) 110m H (15.11), Brad Schrecengost (Sr., Cortland, OH/Lakeview) hammer (159-04) and the 4x400m Relay team of Heck, Colin Davis (So., Carrollton, OH/HS), Chris Weirtz (Sr., Hudson, OH/Western Reserve) and Chris Noussias (So., Canton, OH/GlenOak) in a time of 3:29.36.
Dan Bauman (Jr., Paris, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) finished second in the 3000m SC (9:55.47), Dan Harsh (Jr., Perry, OH/HS) in the high jump (6-00.00), Phil Biedenbach (Jr., Alliance, OH/Marlington) in the discus (129-04), and Ryan Garrott (Jr., Georgetown, TX/HS) in the 800m (2:03.03).
