3.26.14 WOMEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Shutout Scots

(WOOSTER, Ohio) Walsh improved to 18-7 with a 9-0 whitewash of the College of Wooster (3-6) at the Scot Center in Wooster today.  The Cavs are back in action on April 8, when they travel to Cedarville to meet the Yellow Jackets.

The Cavs swept doubles, with Sofya Logunova (Fr., Praha, Czech Republic/Russian Embassy School in Prague) and Daria Bondareva (Fr., Sankt-Petersburg, Russia/HS) winning 8-6. Alisha Angle (Jr., Lexington, OH/HS) and Alona Skobkina (Fr., Tarragona, Spain/Instituto Espan de Andorra) won 8-1 at second doubles and Anastasiya Dasik (Fr., Kiev, Ukraine/School N 40) and Jaclyn DiDomenico (Sr., Canfield, OH/Cardinal Mooney) posted an 8-4 win at third doubles.

Logunova won 6-3, 6-2 at first singles. Bondareva won 6-4, 6-2 at second singles, Skobkina won 6-3, 6-2 at third singles, Angle 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles, Dasik 6-0, 6-2 at fifth singles and Arina Kravitz (So., Youngstown, OH/Boardman) 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) at sixth singles.
