The second half started in similar fashion as the first in the sense that Hiram scored early, Walsh scored consecutive goals to take the lead, and the Terriers scored again to tie the game. This time Walsh closed the game with the final four goals.
Maria Nobile (Fr., Westerville, OH/Olentangy Orange) put Walsh on top for good with a goal at 18:07 left in the half. It was a while until the Cavs scored again, but Aly Jajack (Fr., North Canton, OH/Hoover) and Brianna Moss (Fr., Brunswick, OH/HS) iced the game on free position shots with around four minutes left. Nobile scored again with eight seconds left to set up the final score.
Moss led the offense with four goals. She was also strong in other areas of the field with three ground balls and three draw controls. Nobile gave Walsh a strong 1-2 punch with two goals and an assist. She added seven draw controls, four ground balls, and three caused turnovers.
