4.1.12 WOMEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Split in Indiana

(Indianapolis, IN) Walsh (9-4) split a pair of matches at the Marian University Classic yesterday. The Cavs fell to 19-6 Marian University 6-3, before bouncing back to defeat Campbellsville University (8-4) 5-4.
Walsh won all three doubles matches to spark their win over Campbellsville. Shellie Webster (Jr., Lexington, OH/HS) and Alisha Angle (Fr., Lexington, OH/HS) won both of their matches at first doubles. Webster also won both of her matches at first singles. Kayla Shaheen (Jr., Canton, OH/Central Catholic) and Allison St. George (Jr., Boardman, OH/Cardinal Mooney) won at second doubles and Jackie DiDomenico (So., Canfield, OH/Cardinal Mooney) and Kara Papatheodorou (Sr., North Canton, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) won at third doubles.
Webster’s record at first singles is 9-1, and Angle is 8-2 at second singles. St. George is 7-3 at fourth singles. Webster and Angle are 8-2 at first doubles.
