3.4.12 MEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Down Chestnut Hill

(Hilton Head, SC) Walsh improved to 5-2 on the season after defeating Chestnut Hill College (3-1) 6-3 today at the Hilton Head Resort.  The win was the third straight for the Cavs.  Walsh plays Tusculum College on Monday night at 8 pm. 

The Cavs posted four singles wins in the match.  Number one singles player Diego Yung (Sr., Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires) and number two singles Mark Innes (Sr., Randburg, South Africa/Kings School) each posted wins to improve their records to 2-3 and 4-3 respectively.  Louis Thomas (So., Canton, OH/Jackson) won at fourth singles to improve to 4-2 and Jarred Gable won at sixth singles to raise his record to 2-3.  Innes and Jon Esber (Sr., Canton, OH/Central Catholic) won 8-2 at first doubles and are 3-3 on the year.
