3.5.13 MEN'S TENNIS: Cavs Win 5-4 at Southeastern

(Lakeland, FL) Walsh (4-6) edged Southeastern University (2-7) 5-4 today. The Cavs won at second and third doubles and won at fourth, fifth and sixth singles. Walsh plays its final Florida match on Thursday at Rockhurst University, in Tampa, at 11 am.

Alex Portelance (Fr., Repentigny, Quebec/Felix-Leclerc) and Carlos Jaque (Fr., Chijuayante, Concepcion, Chile/Lycee Charles de Gaulle) won 8-6 at second doubles. Jaque also posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at fourth singles. Jarred Gable (Sr., Seville, OH/Cloverleaf) and Chase Pucci (Sr., North Canton, OH/Hoover) won 8-0 at third doubles. Gable also won 6-4, 6-3 at fifth singles.  Grant Billinovich (So., Clinton, OH/Norton) won 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 at number six singles.
