Walsh remains number 21 in the NAIA's second regular season coaches poll. The Cavs were also 21st in the NAIA Preseason Coaches Poll and landed in the same spot in the first regular season poll. The Cavs received 135 total points.

The Cavs compiled a record of 32-9 this past fall and open the spring season at the Best Western "Give 18 Fore Cancer Classic (Cumberland Trail GC, Pataskala, OH) this Saturday and Sunday.
