4.1.12 WOMEN'S GOLF: Cavs 8th at ODU, Jackson, Kimar Card Final Round 77's

(Pataskala, OH) Walsh finished eighth (667) in a field of 13 teams at the Give 18 Fore Cancer Classic, hosted by Ohio Dominican University and being played at Cumberland Trail Golf Course.  The Cavs shot a 331 in the final round.  Grand Valley State University finished first with a 610.

Abbey Kimar (Sr., Canton, OH/Jackson) and Morgan Jackson (Fr., Uniontown, OH/Green) each fired final round 77s.  Kimar tied for 22nd place at 161 (84-77) and Jackson for 27th place with a 163 (86-77). Katy Collins (Sr., Youngstown, OH/Ursuline) and Jenny Tsangeos (Fr., Canton, OH/GlenOak) tied for 35th place at 166.  Collins shot a pair of 83's and Tsangeos 84 and 82.  Kim Smith (Sr., Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central Regional) finished in 49th place at 172 (83-89) and Nikki Kulasa (Sr., Amherst, OH/Amherst Steele) tied for 64th place at 181 (87-94).
