4.12.12 MEN'S TENNIS: Walsh Blanks Malone 9-0 for 8th Straight Win

(Canton, OH) Walsh (13-4) defeated Malone University (1-12) 9-0 today at Harvard Courts.  The win was the eighth straight for the Cavaliers.

Diego Yung (Sr., Mar del Plata/Buenos Aires) improved to 9-1 with his win at first singles.  Mark Innes (Sr., Randburg, South Africa/Kings School) won at second singles to raise his record to 8-2. Jon Esber (Sr., Canton, OH/Central Catholic) won at third singles to improve to 7-3 and Louis Thomas (So., Canton, OH/Jackson) is now 8-2 after winning at fourth singles.

Innes and Esber are 9-1, with five straight wins at first singles.

Walsh is home next Wednesday (4.18) to Tiffin University at 3 pm.
