The Cavs gained the split on the strength of a five-run sixth inning to snap a 2-all tie. After a pair of Panther errors set the table, Samantha Troxell (Jr., Cuyahoga Falls, OH/HS/Youngstown State) doubled with the bases loaded to break the tie, and give the Cavs a 4-2 lead. Troxell went 2-4 and drove in three runs. Marissa Bondoni (So., Alliance, OH/HS) then singled in two more runs to increase the lead to 7-2.  The Panthers scored three times in the seventh, but were shutdown by Bondoni who picked-up the save.
