4.14.12 MEN'S TRACK & FIELD: Grouberts Win at Slippery Rock

Men's Track & Field, 2012-04-14

(Slippery Rock, PA) Justin and Jordan Groubert each won their respective events at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock Invitational today.  Justin (Fr., Hartville, OH/Lake) took first in the 5000m (15:15.22) and Jordan (Jr., Hartville, OH/Lake) won the 1500m (4:14.53). 

The Cavs received a second place finish from Matt Roshak (So., North Canton, OH/Hoover) in the 1500m (4:18.39) and from Justin Eddy (So., Massillon, OH/Perry) in the 5000m (15:36.84).

John Hamilton (Jr., Macedonia, OH/Nordonia) took place third in the long jump (18’8) and fifth in the200m (22.81).  Dan Harsh (Sr., Perry, OH/HS) was third in the triple jump (11’67), Anthony Skrabak (Sr., St. Clairsville, OH/HS) in the discus (140’977) and Dan Opeka (So., Canton, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) in the 3000m steeplechase (10:26.70).
