4.14.12 WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD: Foster, Dickey Win PV at Slippery Rock

Women's Track & Field, 2012-04-14

(Slippery Rock, PA) Stephanie Foster (Jr., Cloverleaf, OH/Lodi) and Kelsey Dickey (Fr., Cortland, OH/Lakeview) each won their respective events at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University today.  Foster continued to dominate in the pole vault (11'9) and Dickey took first in the 3000m (11:02.65).

Lissa Yoder (Jr., Framdale, OH/Maplewood) and Rachelle Miller (Sr., Uniontown, OH/Lake) took second (11:03.21) and third place (11:05.24) in the 3000m.  Sarah Martter (Jr., Peninsula, OH/Woodridge) took second in the 800m (2:27.19), Alyssa Akers (Jr., Twinsburg, OH/HS) in the 400m (1:05.56) and Kristine Sokol (So., Akron, OH/Archbishop Hoban) in the discus (35'49).

Kayla Braun (So., Hudson, OH/HS) took third place (35'7) in the shot put and Leah Beatty (Jr., Enon Valley, PA/Mohawk) fourth (35'4).  Catie Shears (Sr., Washington, Court House, OH/HS) took third place in the high jump (4'8).
