4.2.13 MEN'S BASKETBALL: NABC Announces 2013 Coaches' Division II All-District Teams and Coaches; Kornowski Named First Team

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2013 NABC Coaches’ Division II All-District teams and coaches, recognizing the best men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes and coaches in the division. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division II, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America. Walsh University’s Kenny Kornowski (6-9, Sr., Marshallville, OH/Smithville) was named first-team on the Midwest team.

Kornowski, also a first-team All-GLIAC selection, averaged a career best 20.6 points, 9.1 rebounds and shot 57% from the field, 36% from three-point and 72% from the line. Walsh finished 18-8 overall and second in the GLIAC with a 14-8 record. Kornowski, finance major, carries a 3.364 grade point average.
