Walsh fared well at the Jack Hazen Open at Malone University today. The Cavs had six, first-place winners.

Dan Bauman (So., Paris, OH/St. Thomas Aquinas) finished first in the 3000m steeplechase (10.20.24), Joe Morgan (Jr., Canton, OH/McKinley) was first in the long jump (7.09), Brian Williams (Sr., Canton, OH/McKinley) in the 110m hurdles (1:00.18), Brad Schrecengost (Jr., Cortland, OH/Lakeview) in the hammer (45.71m), Jordan Groubert (Fr., Hartville, OH/Lake) in the 5000m (17:05.00) and the Cavs 4x100m relay team of Williams, John Sweinfurth (So., Medina, OH/HS), Morgan and Kevin Beichler (Jr., Smithville, OH/HS) won in a time of 42.90m.
