(Camby, IN) Walsh is in third after the first 18 holes of the unaffliated conference championships, being held at the Heartland Crossing Golf Course in Camby, Indiana. The winner of the 26-hole championships advances to the NAIA National Championships.

Bethel College leads the field after shooting an opening round 321. The University of Saint Francis (IN) is second (336), with the Cavs third (339). Marian University is fourth (346).

Nikki Kulasa (Jr., Amherst, OH/Amherst Steele) is tied for seventh after carding an opening round 83. Katy Collins (Jr., Youngstown, OH/Ursuline) shot 84 (9th), Katie Kohut (So., Twinsburg, OH/Walsh Jesuit) 85 (T-10th), Kelsey Ozanich (So., Warren, OH/Howland) 87 (T-13th) and Kim Smith (Jr., Whitehouse Station, NJ/Hunterdon Central) 89 (T-17th).
