5.5.14 WOMEN'S GOLF: Tsangeos Remains In Top 10

(NOBLESVILLE, Ind.) – Jenny Tsangeos (Jr. Canton, OH/GlenOak) remains in the top 10 at the NCAA Division II East Super Regional after she equaled her first day score on the second day of competition. She scored a 78 on both days to put her in 10th place overall out of 49 golfers.
Grand Valley’s Kelly Hartigan still leads the field with two-day score of 145. Findlay’s Brooke Albers and Grand Valley’s Veronica Ryan are tied for second at 150. Tsangeos was tied for eighth after yesterday, but Ferris States’ Jacqueline Mulder and Missouri St. Louis’ Tayler Hoag improved upon their scores to jump up and be tied for eighth after the second day.
In today’s round, Tsangeos birdied Hole 11 on the back nine, but picked up three bogeys in the same section to go with four bogeys in the front nine. Her two-day score of 156 is one stroke back from being tied for eighth overall and four strokes away from being in the top five.
Tsangeos will once again tee off on Hole 1 to conclude the tournament. She will be paired with Wheeling Jesuit’s Kasey Frazier.
