9.21.12 VOLLEYBALL: Cavs Fall in Three to Ferris State

Walsh fell to 3-5 on the season, and to 1-2 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, after being swept at Ferris State University (8-3, 2-1) tonight by the scores of 17-25, 20-25 and 16-25.  The Cavs are back in GLIAC action tomorrow at 4 pm at Grand Valley State University.

Julianne O'Donnell (5-10, Sr., Willowick, OH/Lake Catholic) had a double-double with 10 kills and 16 digs.  Hannah Duran (5-9, Sr., Elyria, OH/Midview) dished out 28 assists and Krissy Sokol (5-9, Jr., Akron, OH/Archbishop Hoban) had three blocks assists.  Brittany Morris (5-11, Sr., Norh Royalton, OH/Padua Franciscan) added nine kills and Paige Chandler (6-0, Jr., Cincinnati, OH/McNichols) seven.
