9.27.12 WOMEN'S SOCCER: Cavs Host Ferris St. and Grand Valley This Weekend

Walsh (5-1-1, 2-1-1) plays host to Ferris State University on Friday night (7 pm) and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference leader Grand Valley State University on Sunday (1 pm) at Len Milazzo Field.  The Cavs, who are tied for fourth place with Ferris State, have won their last two matches by identical 1-0 scores.  The Cavs are unbeaten in their last three matches.

Ferris State stands 3-2 overall and 2-1-1 in GLIAC play.  They play at Malone on Sunday.  GLIAC leader Grand Valley State makes their first trip to North Canton for Sunday’s matinee at 1 pm.  They play at Malone University on Friday afternoon. The Lakers are unbeaten overall at 7-0-2 and are 3-0-1 in the GLIAC play. Their only conference blemish was a scoreless double overtime tie with Saginaw Valley on September 21.
