9.28.12 MEN'S SOCCER: Cavs Blanked 2-0 at Findlay

Men's Soccer, 2012-09-28

(Tiffin, OH) Walsh fell 2-0 to the University of Findlay (4-4, 4-4) today in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference match.  The loss, the third straight for the Cavs, drops them to 2-6 on the season and to 2-4 in the GLIAC. The Cavs are at Northwood University on Sunday (1 pm).

After a scoreless first half, the Oilers’ Kyle Pahren scored an unassisted goal at 15:58 into the second half.  Findlay’s Shane McGee added an insurance goal at the 81:15 mark.  Findlay outshot the Cavs 15-9.  

Mike Kelley (Sr., Chagrin Falls, ON/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) had six saves for Walsh.
