9.29.12 WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY: Cavs Finish Sixth of 13 at All-Ohio Championships

Walsh finished sixth out of 13 teams in the NCAA Division II/NAIA All-Ohio Championships at Cedarville University Saturday afternoon. The Cavaliers (24-13) finished with a team score of 138, 16 points shy of fourth place Findlay. All of all teams involved. Walsh finished 19th out of 43 teams.

Lissa Yoder (Sr., Cortland, OH/Maplewood) had a strong finish as she placed seventh with a time of 19:09 out of the 87 runners in her division. Kelsey Dickey (So., Cortland, OH/Lakeview) was the second Walsh member to cross the finish line with a time of 19:37 and finished 20thoverall.  Annie Wise (Fr., Randolph, OH/Waterloo) was third for the Cavaliers and recorded a time of 20:04. Kate Ryan (So., Alliance, OH/Marlington) was 37thoverall and had a time of 20:14. Elena Deighan (Fr., Sagamore Hills, OH/Western Reserve Academy) rounded out the Cavaliers’ top five with a time of 20:30 and finished 45thoverall.

The Cavaliers are at the Slippery Rock Invitational a week from today with a scheduled start time of 11 a.m.
