NEW ERA: Walsh opens its 19th season, and a brand new era, when they host Edinboro University under the lights on Thursday night (7 pm) at Fawcett Stadium. Dennison was the only head coach in the history of the program.
WALSH: Walsh finished 3-8 overall and 2-8 in the GLIAC last year. Three of the Cavs’ losses were by seven points of less. After winning the opener at Kentucky Wesleyan, the Cavs dropped their next four games before defeating Malone for their first GLIAC win.

The Cavaliers, competing in their second season in the GLIAC, received 43 points and were picked ahead of Lake Erie (40), Tiffin (30), and Malone (21). Ashland was picked to win the South once again with 10 first place votes and 88 points overall. Ohio Dominican was picked second with four first place votes and 80 points, while Findlay was picked third.
