Northwood scored in the 10thminute of the game to provide the only score of the game in a 1-0 defeat of Walsh Sunday afternoon. The Cavaliers fall to 2-7 overall and 2-5 in the conference. The Timberwolves are now 4-3-1 overall and 4-3 in the GLIAC.

Sam Nair recorded the only goal at 10:50 as he went down the right side and was able to slip the ball past Mike Kelley (Sr., 6-0, Chagrin Falls, OH/NDCL) low to right side. Aside from the one goal, Kelley played well as he made eight saves on 19 shots faced.

Overall, Walsh was outshot 19-7 overall. The Timberwolves also had an edge in shots on goal 9-4.

The Cavaliers return home this Friday with a match against Saginaw Valley State University. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
