Admissions
Candidates with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college, with acceptable scholastic standing and personal and professional potential, will be considered for admission to the Master of Arts in Theology program. New students planning to take graduate courses should contact the Theology Division Chair at least six weeks before classes begin.
Requirements for admission as a matriculated student in the Master of Arts in Theology program include:
- Completed application form, accompanied by a nonrefundable application/registration fee of $25.
- Official transcript(s) of undergraduate and all other graduate study sent directly from the applicant's college(s) to the Walsh University Admissions Office.
- Recommendations by three people qualified to appraise scholastic aptitude and personal and professional promise.
- Signed affidavit of good moral character.
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average at the undergraduate level (4.0 scale).
- Interview with a graduate Theology faculty member.
- Evidence of a proficiency in written English. Students will be required to produce a sample of writing proficiency.
- Miller's Analogy or GRE Scores (in unique circumstances may be waived at discretion of Division Chair).
