Terrific Alumni Sharing Knowledge
The Walsh University Alumni Office and the Office of Career Development are partnering to develop a network of alumni volunteers who are willing to assist current students with their long-term career goals. If you are willing to meet with students to share your expertise and provide career advice we invite you to join this T.A.S.K. force.
Identify your areas of interests:
- Offer to let a student interview about academic major selection or your career field
- Conduct mock interviews to give students opportunities to practice before they head into the job market
- Allow a student to shadow you for a half day at your place of employment
- Provide internship opportunities
- Participate in job fairs
- Serve as a speaker or panelist for a Career Services campus event
