Amy Lehmer

Amy Lehmer, a 2000 graduate, and teammate of Heimgartner, lettered four times for the Cavs Softball Team. Lehmer was a standout pitcher and utility player for the Cavs and earned AMC Freshman of the Year honors in 1999, with a 14-6 record and 1.24 ERA, while hitting .419. A four-time All-AMC First-Team selection, Amy was also first-team NAIA Region IX her final three years. As a sophomore, she finished 20-2 with a 1.84 ERA, while hitting .356 with 27 RBI. She was named AMC Player of the Year her junior year, finishing 17-5 with a 1.97 ERA, .443 batting average with 31 RBI. While battling through injury her senior year, Amy was still accorded honors as Walsh advanced to the NAIA World Series for the first time, where she was named to the All-Tournament Team. Lehmer is the career leader in at-bats (623), doubles (53) and is second in career hits (239) and runs scored (156).
