Are Walsh's teams successful?

Walsh University is home to 8 men's and 8 women's NAIA athletic teams and has over 300 student-athletes. Walsh is a member of the American Mideast Conference and the Mid States Football Association. Women's sports include basketball, golf, indoor/outdoor track, cross country, soccer, softball, tennis, and volleyball. Men's sports include soccer, football, basketball, indoor/outdoor track, cross country, baseball, golf, and tennis. A women's cheerleading team is also offered for students interested but it is not a member of the NAIA athletic program. Walsh athletic teams have won many conference, regional, and all-sports titles throughout the years. The women's basketball team won the NAIA National Championship in 1998 and the men's basketball team won the NAIA National Championship in 2005.
